When we were asked several months ago to submit an image for P. Buckley Moss (a renowned Virginia-based artist who takes her inspiration largely from images of the Shenandoah Valley) to consider for her next painting, we were thrilled at the prospect. Now, we couldn’t be happier to announce that not only has Ms. Moss selected the Chapman – Beverley Mill, she has completed her painting and will host a print signing November 14 in downtown Warrenton!
Ms. Moss’ painting of the Mill is one of three new works depicting historic places throughout Fauquier County. The other two sites are the Warrenton Rail Depot and the Waterloo Bridge.
The print signing will take place at Framecraft (64 Main St. Warrenton, VA) from 10am until 4pm. Prints will be available at $55 each and there will be a raffle to win a beautifully framed print of the Mill. All raffle proceeds will benefit the continued conservation and interpretation of the historic Mill site.
So, mark your calendars for Saturday, November 14. We hope to see you there!
